Water enters Lake Gerry through a set of wetlands in the Southeast side of the lake.  These wetlands are protected from development and encroachment by the DEC.  

Our wetlands provide a buffer and biological filter from potential runoff from fields.  

Paddle near the wetlands and you'll see an abundance of wildlife.
