Similar to the treatment performed in the Summer of 2020, SOLitude Lake Management will apply a topical herbicide to the lily pads on the lake. For this treatment to be most effective with the least amount of herbicide, it is important to perform the treatment during peak-lily pad levels. This typically occurs in July to August.

This year the treatment will be performed from an air-boat which will help maximize the herbicide coverage by allowing the application team to access areas of the lake that are difficult to navigate due to muck and other underwater debris.

While this herbicide is safe for use, we advise you to not swim in, or drink from the lake during application. As the date of application grows closer and is set, we will notify the lake community with signs around the lake and will post the date here on the website.
